Looking to the present scenario of water pollution & its devastating consequences in India, a project has been undertaken. This project is aimed at building up a thematic network on ’Sustainable Policies for Promoting Water Conservation Technologies and Practices.’

Broadly, three sectors have been selected

1. Rural

2. Industrial

3. Urban

to develop on effective sustainable development policy.

Our website sustainwater.com gives an overview of the project. Here the cross-sect oral approach gives details of the various case studies, references, news& related links with reference to the sectors chosen for conducting the study.

We have six partners three Indian & three European working in the different sector. In order to frame the final policy/ achieve the objective of the project a series of workshop will be conducted to get the required data.

There is also a discussion group on the web where one can share & exchange information electronically. Last but not the least we are in the process of developing an intelligent library for this water project.
